Thank you Jerry for this precious guide! Our trip along Route 66 would not have been the same without EZ66. Crossing the Mother Road was the most beautiful experience of my entire life and your guide made our trip extra special! thanks again, a big hug from Switzerland

We made it to Santa Monica on June 13. What a great road trip! So many interesting things to see and wonderfully nice people we met. Thanks for stoping at the Cadillac Ranch to meet us and sing our EZ66 Guide. As I told you, this was my 66 Dream, Driving Route 66 in my 66 GTO and having my 66 birthday. I am still interested in having a painting of the 66 GTO done at Gay Parita's Sinclair Station. Will be contacting you soon. Curt

Just found your site. How I remember Route 66. We moved to California in 1942. My dad bought an old 1929 Ford the following year and he built a trailer which he covered with canvas. It took us 3 days and 3 nights to arrive in Arkansas to visit family. There were 5 kids, mom and pop in the car. When dad would get sleepy, he'd pull off and sleep under some type of shade while the kids went crazy or slept in the trailer. Many times, when he was sleepy, he would have me sit on his lap and steer the car. With a 7 year old at the wheel, he couldn't fall asleep. The highway was red for many miles. I loved seeing it. Then there was the teepee motel, that was always a place we looked forward to seeing. It mean we were getting closer. Thanks for this book.

Hi Jerry - I am one of three Australians who stopped by briefly in March; thanks for spending some time highlighting the 'important' bits of the map (they're ALL important!) for us so we could make the most of the short time available. I'm already planning another, slower journey....it's a bit addictive, isn't it? I've never been to Europe, yet I keep returning to the States! Stay well - warm regards, Jenni
